My Project

Thank you for helping my students get the chance to learn outdoors. By funding this project you will be providing an opportunity for all the students at our school. Studies have shown that students can process information differently in different settings. It is my hope that by allowing my students to have an outdoor classroom, they will be able to better understand the skills they are acquiring.

Learning outside will allow students to relate concepts being taught to the world around them.

This will also foster a love of nature and the natural world.

Being able to choose where to learn will also help developed as stronger sense of control over their education in my students. This, in turn, will encourage them to work harder. Feeling ownership in their learning is a huge positive for my students. Thank you again for your interest in helping the students at my school.
