This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a family of learners! I teach autistic and life skills support students with varying abilities, challenges and home environments. We learn best through multimodal sensory play and love to be outside! With your help, I hope to give my students the tools they need to be more independent during our outdoor learning stations.

I have been creating and collecting all types of sensory activities but need a place to store each station.

We are in desperate need of storage for these sensory filled learning centers. Our kinetic sand, garden center and play dirt containers are cracked and need to be replaced. The containers I am requesting will help promote independence during outside station time because I will be able to store all their choices in one place. Providing my students with many choices helps build communication and independence skills. Thank you for helping me reach the needs of all my students.
