This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students inspire us every day! They always are so eager to come to school and are excited to learn new things. We're excited that our Extended Transitional Kindergarten (ETK) class and Preschool For All Learners (PAL) special day class are mainstreaming together once again.
Our classes consists of 25 amazing three-five year old students!
It's obvious they love being at school and working together with their peers. We can't wait to have an exciting year full of surprises and accomplishments!
My Project
At our school, we are fortunate to have an outdoor learning play area for our ETK and PAL students. We would love to incorporate the basketball hoop, hopscotch carpet and the knock down number challenge in our gross motor area during our outdoor learning centers. All these items will help increase balance and coordination. They will build number recognition skills and eye/hand coordination. They will learn turn taking and sharing.
Outdoor play is so essential in every child's growth and development.
