Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some students like to play the big games during our outdoor recess time, games like kickball, basketball, dodgeball. We also have those that chitchat their time away. However, we also have some quieter students, who are harder to engage in free play.
We would like them to have more optional play, like outdoor bigger "Jenga" block game, an outdoor gigantic "Connect 4", some colorful stacking cups, and a trampoline net thing that you throw a ball and then bounces to catch game.
Hopefully having a variety of choices, will help our students' mental health as they decompress during their recess time.
