This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I run a special education classroom supporting students with moderate to severe needs. This year, one area I want to focus on is teaching my students the importance of movement. One way I want to do this is by providing them with a variety of fun outdoor games they can play together. This will not only help encourage movement but also create opportunities for students to build relationships with one another.

The activities will not only provide opportunities for movement but also help them develop additional skills related to gross and fine motor skills, which are important for their overall development.
