Help me give my students the opportunity to engage in activities outdoors that will benefit growth and development of their physical and mental wellbeing.
Developmentally appropriate, purposeful, engaging play is the foundation of early childhood development, and my classroom of 18 preschool children have an undeniable eagerness to learn and tackle new challenges. We are a part of the Head Start program; my children come from low income areas, several families are below the poverty level. Yet, these amazing three, four, and five year old children come to school every day ready to discover and explore new learning opportunities. During meaningful play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.

Spring is here and the weather is getting warmer; we are so excited to be able to get outside and play! We have a very nice sand table, and are looking for educational materials to use with it; the learning stones would make a great tool! We are also in need of gross motor equipment that the children can use that provide appropriate movement experiences and opportunities to practice and apply the skills
