Outdoor Engineering

Help me give my students large outdoor logs and stumps to use their imagination and be creative.

My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources above basic school supplies. One of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and opportunities for their children.

We need to get each student the support needed to be successful in the classroom.

A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes and needs supports provided in the classroom.

My Project

My students need more resources when we are outside. These resources will help the students with exploring and engineering. The students are able to go outside and explore mutliple times throughout the week. The area we are exploring needs more resource to provide opportunities for students to have tasks and acitivities to complete.

The steps, logs, and stumps will help provide our students with opportunities to build and engineer when in the outdoor learning area.

The students can bring these resources indoors when the weather prevents us to go and play outside.
