Help me give my students a comfy couch and other classroom essentials, to replace much needed materials, which will make our classroom a more inviting place for our students to learn.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My preschool students love to play and learn in all of the classroom areas. However, some of the areas are in need of an upgrade, since the furniture we have, has been used and enjoyed by our children for nearly 20 years, thus they are worn out.
My students come from low-income families and are always so appreciative of everything and I know they would be so excited to see some of our classroom areas given a new life.
I would like to make our reading area inviting and cozy, with the addition of the new sofa to ignite the student's love for books. The new easel would increase their love for art to enhance their creativity. The new shelf and storage units will make some of the learning materials more organized and accessible to them. I want my student to wake up in the morning a be excited to come to school. Your help and generosity will help make our classroom a more inviting place for our children to learn.
