This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I consider myself to be the luckiest teacher in America. I teach AP Physics at a great school with the best students you could ever ask for. We have achieved remarkable levels of success through hard work and dedication. Whether talking about my effort or the lab equipment my students use, I am committed to the idea that my students deserve the best.

This project will replace the outdated LabQuest 2s that my students have been using for about a decade with the new LabQuest 3s that have just come out and provide my classroom with storage and supplies to keep it organized and running smoothly.

The Vernier LabQuests are the top-of-the-line lab interfaces, but lately I've had to work hard to find 3 or 4 that work correctly. The screens glitch, the batteries fail to charge, or the touchscreens stop working. We've had them for almost 10 years, and they have been handled by 1000s of students, but all tech has a shelf life. It's time to replace the venerable LabQuest2s with the new LabQuest3s. My students deserve them. Thanks for your support!
