Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcome! We are excited you are here. Our school serves a wonderful population of students from many parts of the world. Regardless of grade or background, they all love to learn, and they arrive at school with smiles on their faces.

However, because there are so many different personalities, and ages, sometimes conflicts arise.

Hence, we need the Zen Den. Although it is up and running, there are many things the room can use to facilitate its purpose.

I am requesting sensory items to help redirect and calm students, a tabletop water fountain, and meditation pillows. All of these resources will be used to create a soothing aesthetic in a space where students know they can go to relax.
