This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of "housekeeping," we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try! My students work hard every day and they are super eager to learn.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds.
They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The community is very supportive of our school, and we try to meet the needs of all our students.
My Project
The year ahead will hopefully resemble a much normal year. I'm working on making my classroom a more warm and inviting woodland theme. This past year we had to have distance between the students and no fabric, so it was minimalistic and a bit sterile.
These decorations, labels, name table tents will make our classroom feel more welcoming and warm for this years new class.
The decor is functional with lining our bulletin boards and labeling their tables and backpack hooks. The lantern and pom poms will label their tables and centers. Thank you for your support!
