it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students come from a high-poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures: nuclear, single parent, foster and migrant, to name a few.
My students love to be at school and enjoy learning, especially when the activities are hands-on. Many of my students are English language learners that attend a public school in the Los Angeles area. They are always excited to experience any kind of technology that I'm able to bring to my class.
My Project
I will teach my fifth grade students about the American Revolution and the importance of our Constitution. Every year we create biographies of our Founding Fathers, such as Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington. We go into deep detail of the American Constitution and the importance of democracy in this wonderful country. I need the ink to produce projects and to print them out from our color printer. The binding combs and covers will be use to create reading books about the American revolution. The students will present these projects to our class as a final grade. I also need the Constitution books to read aloud to my students. They can also check them out and read them at home. I will use the dry erase markers for presentations on the white board. They will also use the laser pointer to point to important details. Some of my students don't bring pencils so I need to provide them.
Our unit of the American Revolution is a fun and important unit to cover this year.
Your donations will help my students acquire the tools and materials necessary to make the Constitution and the Bill of Rights more comprehensible to them.
They will learn the importance of Democracy through our studies of the Constitution.
