This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Although many of students are not exposed to literature at home and are sometimes strugglers, they’ve always shown impatient to be exposed to new things. I’ve seen my students grabbing books enthusiastically when I’ve given them a preview or read the book before. My students are always eager to learn. They love reading new books and choosing books for me to read to them. They are truthfully great and respectful students who are always ready to experience new learning adventures.

My Project

Every day I exposed my students to a quote from the book “365 Days of Wonder” by the same author. My students have truthfully enjoyed reading the quote and analyzing the meaning. They’ve keep on asking me to read the actual book to them, but I think it would be preferable for them to be exposed directly to the book than myself just reading out from it. Not only do I think my students would enjoy the book, but I see they can benefit from it. This book contains critical topics that my students can be exposed to such as acceptance, the importance of truthful friendships and bullying. My students would be extremely benefited and would love to read this wonderful novel.
