This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am writing this project because there is a need in the students and I need support from people who want to make a difference in a high school classroom. In my school, 100% of the students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. I was given a metal shelf and it came to my mind that I could turn it into a personal hygiene station for the students. It would be a place for students to find what they need; feminine towels, deodorants, and band aids. These are the basic things I need first. Then I would like to add snacks, socks, and tissues. The latter will be a future project.

I invite you to donate and I promise you very nice pictures of the hygiene products for my students. Many times out of embarrassment and fear of what people will say, students keep quiet, but if I have a place open for everyone, they will feel free to look for what they need.
