My Students
My students are simply amazing. They are curious, creative, and eager for knowledge. They inspire me to be better every day. They are on a guided path to being lifelong learners. I'm honored to be a part of their journey.
Looking out into our classroom, I see students from other parts of the world and some born right in the neighborhood, making for a rich cultural experience.
The in-depth discussions are continuously fascinating for all of us. Our school is diverse; it makes teaching and being a part of the community a welcomed challenge every day. Thank you in advance for helping to better our classroom and advance our learning!
My Project
This project will allow my students to write and illustrate their own books! We spend a great deal of time on learning to grow as writers. These books will give their writing a published feel. They will take extra pride in their work. This will give my students the opportunity to learn about what an author needs to do to write a book. Illustrating their own book will make it a special keepsake.
Books are magical, they can take you anywhere, make you someone else, even give you super powers!
This will motivate my students in so many ways! They will be able to use their imaginations, use the skills they have learned in a real world way and have fun working on something they can take home and have forever. This will make all of their hard work and struggles worthwhile.
