This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Using headphones is so important in middle school. In special education, many students rely on audio programs to supplement their reading ability. Some students get embarrassed when other students can hear what comprehension level they are at. I never want my kids to feel that way!

Headphones would allow my special education students to work on their individualized Language Arts programs without other kids hearing their level.

In addition, it is so hard to concentrate when you are distracted by noise from others. I don't know when headphones will be doled out to us. With headphones and charging towers from Donors Choose, my students, my partner teacher, and students to come, will be able to rely on our classroom set. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
