My Project

I am requesting 10 sets of 8 Nutmeg Award Nominated books for our school to kick off our Summer Reading Program! We are excited to put books in the hands of 80 high school students as they head off for summer break. Reading for pleasure is something we are working on supporting at our school and this summer reading program will help to instill that enthusiasm and confidence in our students. With ten books to choose from, there is something for everyone! Our students are enthusiastic about this project as we already have a solid group of about 15 student that have met regularly during the school year for our School Book Club. This project will continue to encourage that enthusiasm, grow our readers, and draw in our upcoming 9th graders.

Dr. Russell will only receive their materials if this project is fully funded by May 31.
