My Students

My students bring such joy to my life, and I am thankful to be their teacher. We seriously have some of the best students in our small town elementary school. I know that every school and every teacher says that, but I know just how amazing our students are.

We are over 60% free or reduced price lunch, but together our community, parents, and staff work together to get everything we need.

I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

My Project

My students are very active. Recently we have gotten some fidget items for our classroom through wonderful donors on DonorsChoose.org. I've noticed that these are working and I've also figured out what fidgets work the best. I am asking for an Ozobot 2.0 Bit Starter Pack, a Magformers Magnetic Building Construction Set, a ZOOB BuilderZ Kit, a Marble Fidget Toy ten-pack, a Fidget Cube, three Tangle Jr. Original Fidget Toys and six Puffer Balls. This project would bring more of those to our classroom. Fidgets help us keep our hands busy while our brains are busy learning.

Another very active part of our classroom is our science time, Maker Space.

This is part of our STEAM learning. We have Maker Space time every Friday and we love all our stations. The more stations we have, the different types of learning, building, designing, and creating that can go on. We also love to use those stations during the inside recess we tend to have during these cold winter months. The Magformers, Zoob builders, and Ozobot would be used during both Maker Space and inside recess.
