This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As I observe and interact with my middle school special education students there is no secret that they love music, pop culture and entertainment. My student's love for music fuels their passions to entertain and collaborate with each other on musical projects. They just completed a genre fusion project which enhanced their passion for music creation. If we get this speaker funded it will afford us the opportunity to enhance our classroom sound system and provide entertainment at school functions for the student body and staff. The class sound system would also allow the students to understand the logistics of crafting quality sound which can enhance the listening experience of the student body and staff.
