Makerspace projects are not only great ways for kids to learn by doing, they also encourage their creativity and provide an outlet for them to be innovative.
A makerspace is simply a place where people gather to explore materials and tools to make things.
Our makerspace runs in 4 week sessions throughout the school year. We see an average of 200 students. These students are able to explore and creative because our school community generously donates their recyclables and unused items. Even with their generous support, we go through a lot of tape, glue and this project will provide these things and much, much more!
