Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help kick off our calm corner in our third grade dual language classroom. My students are very bright and caring children. My students have great days and some days that just aren't as great, and this is where our calm corner comes in.

By helping fund this project you will be creating a safe space for my students where they can self regulate to be successful in all aspects of school.

The goal of this project is to provide an area in our room that my students can go to when they need a break to workout their big feelings. In this safe space students will have access to many different tools to help them regulate their emotions. These tools include: coloring books and coloring pencils, building blocks, books, fidgets, pillows, a breathing buddy, a reading pillow, and timers.
