My Students

Do you remember gathering on a cozy rug as you listened to the teacher read a story? Well, our kindergarten class is looking for that special rug for our classroom.

I have 20 active kindergarten students who are excited to learn.

However, it is hard for them to stay focused when there is not marked spots for them to sit. We are currently using a rug that I used in my own house but it is not large enough to give the students the space they need. The rug I have chosen has a place for each student to sit. This will help with classroom management and learning.

My Project

This cozy colorful rug will give children a fun and involving way to explore letters and shapes as they sit, play, and explore. Our rug will be used many times throughout the day from morning meetings, to story telling, math center, and learning new things.

This rug will allow each student their own personal space to look, listen, and learn each day.

It would also be used as a resource to teach concepts of reading and math. We would be so grateful for your donation.
