Our students love learning and exploring. They are seekers, doers, future life long learners, questioners, explorers and anything else they choose to be.
We strive to provide learning opportunities every day to them that will last a life time.
They are our future and we want to give them a great start to their long successful careers.
At times means and opportunity can be a road block to our students. Nearly half of our students are eligible for free or reduced price lunch so some opportunities are not always available to them.
My Project
Our maker space has been a huge hit in our middle school. Students love to be creative and have a space where they can use their hands and move. Our maker space will continue to be used by our middle school students this school year. However, we are running low on many of our supplies, especially disposable items. Our students enjoy building prototypes for projects, and clay has been huge hit. The art supplies have been great assets for allowing students to think outside the box and show their knowledge; scissors, hot glue, wipes, etc.
Our students also love the creative feel of this room, the light filters and lights would help to create a calm atmosphere for them to work and be creative.
Students will use these essential supplies on their upcoming projects. They will use the glue, wipes, scissors, and other craft supplies to create their diorama, if they choose that as their project option.
The materials are so important for our students to continue to use our maker space and be creative in the middle school. It is so important for our students to have opportunities to be creative and innovative throughout their school day.
