My Project

Our class is expected to learn about the life cycle of plants and animals. Our students were able to learn about the plant life cycle by planting plants. We were able to learn about the animal life cycle by hatching chickens for a farm!

This year, our 2nd grade students showed they love being lifelong learners, if given the chance.

One of the most exciting activities we have done this year to encourage our students to take learning into their own hands was hatch and raise chickens.

Although we had great success with our chicken hatching this year, we could enhance the process with a classroom sized chicken coop that students can easily see into.
