My students need Fire Tablets to practice their reading and math in the classroom. With technology becoming more and more prominent, the online academic resources are almost endless!
My Kinder kiddos come from a wide range of backgrounds. Our school is a Title 1 campus in a rural community.
With technology on the rise, my 21st century learners need the materials to help them enhance their learning experience.
Some of my students do not get the opportunity to explore or experience technology outside of the classroom. My goal is to provide these students as many experiences inside the classroom as possible.
Although some of my students deal with difficult situations at home, they are always happy to be at school and they show that with their smiles and enthusiasm to learn. Every child deserves the same opportunities to learn, no matter their background.
My Project
My students will use the Fire Tablets when working during stations or small group time. The apps on the tablets allow me to differentiate what each student is working on and address their specific academic needs. The students are unaware that each student is on a different level, and it allows them to focus on their own learning instead of being distracted by other levels of learners.
These tablets will aid my students in learning how to read and to advance their math skills.
They will also be able to practice the ever-growing skills needed to effectively use technology. My students love when they get to use technology in the classroom and since I can change the apps around, there is always something new and exciting that they get to do!
