This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you leave your cell phone at home on a daily basis? We can't imagine living without technology, so neither should our students. My students do not have daily access to technology and are missing out on so many learning opportunities. When they love to learn, they learn for a lifetime.

I teach in a low income school with many students who are English Language Learners.

Technology will provide differentiation to my ELL and provide a valuable tool for the 21st century for all my students. My students do not get the joy of new things very frequently so I would love to provide them with a new tool to learn with!

My Project

I am requesting 2 Kindle Fires for my classroom. Not only do I teach kindergarten, but I have a pre-k child at home. I cannot begin to tell you how much she loves to play and learn on our tablet. I already am aware of so many great applications for learning sight words, counting applications, story telling applications, and more. I want my students to get the same advantage that she has been provided.

My students will be excited and appreciative when learning with the Kindle Fire.

What a great learning experience a donation can become and hopefully bring this idea of a good deed into the world as they grow! Thanks for your time and contributing to an invaluable cause!
