This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom we engage in active learning! We use our minds and our bodies to learn new concepts. Having a mobile teaching easel will ensure students will be able to see teaching materials and concepts wherever we are in the classroom.
We will use the magnetized teaching easel to demonstrate math concepts using manipulatives allowing students to physically participate in math learning by moving pieces and writing on the easel.
We will also use the teaching easel on the rug for taking notes, tying reading concepts to our read aloud books, and demonstrating writing concepts for students to work on independently.
As we move around the room for small groups and independent work, the teaching easel will be able to travel with us, ensuring students will always be able to see and refer to what we are learning.
