My students need colored paper, markers, pencils, measurement charts, Post-its, composition books, and calendar set for the upcoming school year, organizational tools and everyday learning materials are needed for a successful year!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
" If you think nobody cares.... Think again!" My students mean the world to me, along with caring for them, I care about their educations and want them to have the best opportunities to make better choices and follow their dreams.
If you think back, one of the best things about the first day of school is having brand new sharpened pencils, pens, bright banners and colored paper.
With your help, our classroom will be ready to start the new school year off right with these basic, necessary school supplies.
My students have to overcome many disabilities, and required school concepts, with little or no help from their parents. Their parents are unable to help them in the educational area due to lack of knowledge and understanding of the English language or education for themselves. My students work hard and often support their mothers and fathers by running household errands and watching younger siblings.
Unfortunately, another thing that my students have in common is that their families are struggling financially. Within my school, the majority of the students qualify for the state's free or reduced meal program. It would be a wonderful thing if I could supply my students with brand new school supplies.
My Project
My students are 12 year old children who don't have the necessary supplies for school. Some don't have the supplies due to the financial strain buying school supplies puts on the family. Others don't have supplies because their family life is too stressful for them to remember a pencil when escaping to school. I am requesting pens, pencils, erasers, variety of paper, bulletin board reference sets and staplers to start the new school year of right!
