Our Last Chapter

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are faced with many challenges inside and outside the classroom due to their socioeconomic status. Our school is a Title I school where all of our students receive free or reduced-price I meals. The majority of my students are also faced with the challenge of learning English as their second language. Despite the many challenges that my students face, they are capable of so much and I know they can be successful.

My goal is to create an environment for my students that is inviting, engaging, and meaningful.

My classroom is a safe place where learning is fun but adds meaning to their lives. Thanks to your donations I will continue to be able to do whatever I can to help my students succeed and move on to be successful members of society.

My Project

These specially designed shirts will make a difference in my students lives because it will help them remember the memories and relationships they have built over the last two years.

These shirts will help my students remember that this is our last chapter together and that it is unforgettable.

This special group of students will forever hold a special place in my heart even after they walk out of these four walls. As they transition to different middle schools throughout the city of Charlotte, these shirts will remind them that I wish them nothing but good luck in their future endeavors.
