My Students
Bright, friendly, and eager to learn is how I would describe my kindergarten students. They are a diverse group from various backgrounds, but we are a Title 1 school, which means that many students qualify for free lunch. We also have a high population of foster children. Unfortunately, this also means that parents aren't always able to donate to help with class projects. However, I will not let these factors impede the quality of education I deliver to my students.
My students are sponges and they absorb a tremendous amount to information each day.
We read. We sing. We cook. We paint. We plant. We learn as much as we can to be prepared for college, career, and life!
My Project
STEM-related jobs have increased more than any other non-STEM field. Therefore it is our obligation as teachers to help students develop skills in this area so they will be prepared for the future. I am determined to fulfill this obligation in my kindergarten class. I want my students to have access to the tools needed to make them successful.
This STEM bundle from Lakeshore is just the thing I need to help my students cultivate the skills necessary to compete in the 21st century job market.
Kindergarten is all about STEAM. We love hands-on activities and they are perfect for growing minds. However, these materials are very expensive and I could use a little help from you. Thank you for your consideration.
