This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are enthusiastic to learn and deserve the resources to help them. My classroom is made up of amazing, wonderful, courageous students that have a unique outlook on life. They all come from different social and ethnic backgrounds, but also have various learning abilities. My students enjoy hands on activities that allow them to be creative and learn at the same time. Many of my students struggle to have access to basic supplies for the classroom. Every one of my students strive to do their best in and out of the classroom despite the challenges we experience.
My Project
This table will be utilized the most during my Math and intervention classes. The unique shape allows to have group work experience and one-on-one feel during small group instruction. During my intervention periods, I pull a small group of students to help strengthen their math skills. As well, the students can utilize this table for group projects or social emotional learning activities. It's a spacious table that does not take up that much room in my classroom.
