Have you seen this picture of my classroom? This is the entirety of our gym. We are a therapeutic residential program for high school aged teens. Many of the students in the program choose exercise as a positive outlet when working through their treatment. Unfortunately, the only weight training equipment available to them is the set of dumbbells and bench press pictured. While I am grateful for everything we already have, I think these students need a few more pieces of equipment in order to fully explore their potential.
A squat rack and an additional Olympic barbell would really give these students an opportunity to begin healthy habits that will support them now and into adulthood.
