This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am creating this project on behalf of my Elementary School's Green Team. This is our schools first year having a Green Team, and we are in desperate need of supplies to help us get started. The Green Teams focus is to engage students and staff in having an active role in school energy conservation and sustainability. With our Green Team, our students will be able to take ownership in the appearance of the school by helping the landscape around the school, as well as plant, grow, and harvest their own food items.
