This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am currently a 4th grade teacher. I am wanting to make my classroom a comfortable and safe environment for my students. I would love to give them choice of where and how they sit during the day. My classroom is the perfect fit to have flexible seating and it would greatly impact the student experience. Giving students choice allows them to buy into their learning and make sure they are being the best students that they can be. I am hoping that these kids get the resources they need. Floor cushions and lap desks would allow my students to work in an alternative seating arrangement.
