My Project
In the state of Hawaii, Girls Flag Football became a sanctioned HHS Sport this school year.
For this project, we are requesting footballs to start a Flag Football program for students in grades 6/7/8.
At our school, we would like to start a girls' flag football team to prepare our girls for this new high school sport. We are hoping that this program will prepare our girls for high school, while also strengthening our relationships within our school. We will model our program to mirror high school athletics and hold our girls accountable to those standards set academically and socially. The footballs will be used throughout our practices and hopefully with games against other middle schools. These footballs that we are requesting are the same ones that are used in high school. This should allow our athletes a smooth transition to high school play.
