This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our classroom has the best guinea pig named Luna. Luna was a rescue that came to our classroom two years ago. Since being here, she has helped our classroom emotions improve greatly. Luna is such an important part of our classroom.

Luna helps our class learn empathy, reduces stress and teaches responsibly.

I have the best students in the world. My students take their education very seriously and love to learn. Luna offers my hard working students a nice chance to relax and reset.

Luna costs a lot of money to keep. She needs hay, pellets, treats, supplements and bedding. The funding of this Donors Choose grant would help our classroom greatly by helping pay for a few months of supplies for our pet.
