Our Crazy List of Things We Really Need!

Help me give my students a new speaker to listen to relaxing music during library time, some much needed new clipboards and binder clips to secure their work!

My Project

Who has the BEST students EVER????? That would be ME! I am the school librarian at a small, rural school in southern Virginia and every day I get to go to work and teach some of the sweetest, smartest, and most hard-working kiddos! The library is truly my happy place and I am hoping that you can help me add some much needed supplies to our library. First of all, we need some new clipboards for the students to use as they do research and as they move around the library but still need a sturdy place to keep their papers altogether as they engage in different reading activities. Plus, we need them for the times we have to make our wish lists for the book fairs we hold twice a year! In fact, we use clipboards a LOT and the old ones we have now have been used my entire teaching career for almost 30 years! They definitely need to be replaced with some new, colorful ones!

My students LOVE when I play soft music while they are working or checking out books but we need a better speaker to make the experience more enjoyable!

Music in the library creates such a lovely space for perusing the shelves, reading quietly, doing research or any of the other activities we do during library time. I know that Bose speakers are reliable, high quality, and offer a tone that will bring the atmosphere we want to have in the library!

Finally, we need LOTS of binder clips because I buy them all the time for students to clip their work together, hang up book projects they have completed, etc. They are such a durable and versatile supply that my students use constantly! Can you help please? Thank you so much!
