My Project
What I love most about my students is their curiosity and the way they see the world with open minds. They come to class eager to learn and ready to ask big questions. They’re at an age where they’re discovering not only who they are but how they fit into the larger world around them.
Access to diverse books about important people of color will help my students see themselves and others in new ways.
These stories will empower them to understand how people from all backgrounds have shaped history and continue to make an impact today. Representation matters, and having books that celebrate a variety of voices will help my students feel seen while also fostering empathy, respect, and a love of learning.
These resources will spark conversations, inspire projects, and show my students that they, too, can make a difference in their communities.
