This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Classroom's First Acrylic Paints!

In this project I have put together a collection of painting tools and materials; This includes everything from the acrylic paints to the brushes and soap we will use in our classroom!

These painting materials will be used to apply our learned knowledge of color theory. Throughout the first trimester we have been discussing topics such as primary colors, complimentary colors, and secondary colors!

Later in the year we will move on to shade, tone, and value. We will practice using our knowledge of color theory and apply it to various projects- the final project will be an end-of-the-year canvas.

This will be a way for students to remember their time at my school before moving on to middle school!
