This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Classroom Chant "It is Time for Circle Time, Circle Time, Circle Time. It is Time for Circle Time so please come sit with me."
The Carpet is the heart of the class it is one of the most go-to spots throughout the day, and it is a place where everyone joins together to share their stories and ideas.
They also enjoy the time they get to play and collaborate on building new things with different materials like blocks, Legos, etc.
By helping us fund a new classroom carpet you are providing our students with many opportunities to engage with one another and explore the different materials in our classroom. It will be the place for daily meeting times, read-aloud, dancing, using hands-on materials and so much more. There are always so many great conversations and discussions that happen in our circle time carpet throughout the day each day! The carpet that I have selected is not only bright and inviting but very interactive with letters and numbers that will keep the students engaged and hold a cozy and special place for them to sit each day. The sweeper will be used to keep the carpet clean.
