My Project
Another year, more ink needed. Two years ago my class was fortunate enough to get a printer and colored ink through DonorsChoose. And last year we were able to get more ink. The printer allowed for the printing of colored pictures to use for their writing.
Colored ink is essential in our classroom and more is needed.
Some of my students are able to write and read what they wrote. Yet some of my other students can write/copy from a model but don’t know what they wrote and others can dictate a story or idea. All my students really benefit from the use of pictures to help them with learning activities and COLOR makes a difference.
Printing communication boards/visuals for students to use during lessons to have in front of them while participating in learning activities is needed and benefits all students.
For our past reading/writing unit we created posters to tell all about bees. Students were able find pictures online and take screenshots of bee pictures they wanted to add to their posters. Having colored ink for this project was great and with more projects and learning activities we are in need of more ink.
Our class has been growing an indoor garden. Labeling seedlings/plants with their picture is needed for identification for individuals that are unable to read words. Students are able to locate/identify seedlings by referring to the picture.
Please help us with receiving colored/black ink for our printer so my students can continue learning and growing.
