Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students are new to the school this year, although some have benefitted from TK last year. There is a percentage of students that have not been in school at all, in fact, some were as young as two years old when the pandemic shut down classrooms and their families hesitated to send them until now.

This will be my first year teaching Kindergarten, and I would love to have the supplies to make it a successful year for these eager learners.

Learning to love writing at an early year age is important, the journals I am asking for would allow them to have their own space to write. They also have an area to draw above where they are writing, this can help them expresses and stimulate their ideas.
