My Students

I teach some wonderfully witty teenagers. My students are caring and I would argue more so than your average teen. Our school is located in "small town", USA where they still hold open doors for you, and hold lawn mower races on the weekend. My students live a mostly sheltered life in a town that has seen many businesses go. Because we are a small school, in a rural area my students wear many hats in their teenage life. From sports, clubs, work and church they are always involved in what life has to offer.

My Project

Currently, my students carry more than just the usual burden of high school experiences. They also must carry their books and binders every where they go. Our classroom currently does not have a steady book shelf. Instead, students every day carry their notebooks and books to and from the class. Any checked out reading material from the library or teacher must be carried. Plus, our classroom is funded with the only basics. We would love to have a more inspiring and warm classroom.

Our classroom needs these few things; a dry erase whiteboard, a bookshelf, storage carts, and markers.

Could you help us out? All we ask for is a proper bookshelf for our reading materials and binders and a few classroom functional decor to keep us feeling involved, safe and inspired. Plus the items requested will help give students their own personal space to store their work.
