This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My third grade students (Title I, English language learners, and resource students) need to know that there is a great big world and many places they can go!

My students are extremely interested in taking field trips in their minds. Being able to look at a road atlas will provide many instructional moments. My wish is for my students to realize that our world is so much bigger than their hometown or classroom.

Our classroom needs 25 copies of the Kids' Road Atlas so that each student will have his/her own copy and he/she can explore any place in the world at any time!

Your help and support with the project will give my students a chance to imagine the places they can go! They will be able to enter an imaginative world where their imaginations can explore unlimited places!
