My Students

I teach in a Title One K-5 elementary school in Michigan. Currently, I am teaching all subjects and our science curriculum has recently changed. Although I'm very eager to conquer these new standards, I need help providing my students with the tools they need! My students enjoy hands-on learning experiences. These books will help me provide them with knowledge to learn and grow!

My 4th grade students LOVE to learn through STEM projects.

They love to experiment with new ideas and reading about inventions. Thank you for supporting our class!

My Project

Kids learn in so many ways! We have chosen some amazing titles to get our students READING with STEAM ideas in mind! Scientific thinking may not come naturally to all students. However, through exposure and focused, quality reading materials, ALL kids can learn to think through the STEAM approach. The books selected are all related to Science, Math, Engineering and Technology. These books have also been recommended on Readbrightly.com as books that make learning fun!

We strive for an integrated approach to learning with STEAM.

Providing our students with reading materials that encourage "out of the box" thinking will help tremendously!
