it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a teacher who recently returned to teaching second grade in an urban school.
Despite many challenges, my students come to online school each day eager to learn how to learn and drive their own learning.
My students love school because they experience thrilling and motivating educational experiences that simultaneously improve their math, writing, reading, science, and social studies skills. This often takes monetary funding I am not given by my state or school district, especially in a school year when all of my students are learning from home. Unforgettable learning experiences in second grade help my students retain learning in their long-term memories.
My Project
The printer I was using at home has bitten the dust.
Soon, we will have our first publishing party, and nothing means more than having writing in print.
We will most definitely have an online publishing party, but the ability to collect a relic from second-grade writing is priceless.
It has been such a luxury to be able to print a collection of math games, bright graphics, and letters to send home each month. And, it has felt suffocating not to have the ability to print on-command when a physical visual aid would help so much.
