Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a student, you spend almost as much time at school as your do at home. In order for students to effectively learn, school needs to feel safe and inviting for students.

I want to create a classroom that feels like home away from home for my students.

5th grade is a tough year for many students emotionally as they are going through many changes. I have created this project to give them a classroom that they can feel welcome and secure in. The rug and pillow will be used for a calm down corner for students who need a break. The posters will provide inspiration to students to give their best. The rest of the decorations will be sued to tie together the space theme to make their classroom feel like home!
