Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have an energetic group of students who get to school every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I teach at a Title I school where the majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students are eager to learn and try their best.
I am hoping to provide my students with what they need most! I want to make sure my students have equal access to everything they need to be successful!
My Project
We are looking to add the new picture books to our library! We are always looking for a way to foster the love of reading and one way you can help is by donating to our project to get more books in the hands of our kids. I have found that my students get engaged, and fall in love, with new picture books, and are continuously looking for new books to read.
With these new books, my students will have access to wonderful stories with amazing character and our library will get booked!
Picture books provide a point of interest that students can connect to while learning and I am hoping that these books will help with that.
