This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students the resources they need to thrive by supporting our Block Center. By donating building blocks, you will help my students develop essential gross motor and fine motor skills, as well as motor planning abilities. The Block Center will give students the opportunity to strengthen their muscles, practice precision, and improve their hand-eye coordination in a fun and engaging way.
As well as the different motor benefits, the Block Center is a effective tool for encouraging social skill development.
As my students work together to build, stack, and create, they learn to communicate, collaborate, share, and problem-solve with their peers. These social interactions are vital for children as they create a natural environment for practicing turn-taking, sharing, and teamwork.
