My students need attribute links, hundreds number board, a Hip Hoppin' Hundreds Mat, Talk Point voice recorders, Easi-Speak USB recorder, and Karaoke machine to spark their imaginations!
Each student has a unique way of learning. In kindergarten, it's difficult to determine the unique learning style of students because they are not fully able to communicate their interests and needs. My classroom desperately needs a variety of manipulatives and tools for reaching my students.
My students come from a very impoverished small, Texas town.
Their parents are working hard to improve their stations in life. Many of my students are simply THRILLED by something new in the classroom because they so rarely see new & innovative technologies.
My Project
Your much appreciated donation will empower my students by giving them the following amazing Kaplan tools:
1. Amazing attribute links for hands-on sorting & learning adjectives, shapes, colors, & patterns
2. Hands-on hundreds number board they can stack blocks in this unique tray, learn prepositions, & play a variety of educational counting games
3. Hip hoppin' hundreds mat for practicing counting, sequencing, listening skills, & allowing my kinesthetic learners to MOVE
4. Talk Point voice recorders for audio learners, self-monitoring reading, individualized center directions (great for substitute teachers too!)
5. Easi-Speak recorder for audio learners & self-monitoring reading
6. Karaoke machine for oral & kinesthetic learning, sight word recognition, and self-monitoring while reading.
These materials are vital for reaching all students.
In this day & age I CANNOT emphasize how important it is that no one is left behind. This variety of materials will ensure success for ALL students & build confidence which will empower them to become perseverant and to ultimately improve their stations in life. I am a teacher. I am a parent. I want what every parent wants for their children. I WANT BETTER FOR MY KIDS!
